WEDGiTS by ImagAbility, recently sent us a package of their newest building toy WEDGNETiX! After our experience with regular WEDGiTS (Check out our review!), we were thrilled to try this new product. Teenie and Sonshine LOVE building toys and are always eager to try the newest products that will allow them to show their creativity, engineering and designing skills.
WEDGNETiX takes the all the fun of a regular WEDGiTS building block and adds magnetic connectors that allows you to make the most awesome creations ever! WEDGNETiX (like WEDGiTS) help to encourage open ended play and building for kids and adults. Super strong magnets help keep creations together while allowing flexibility in how your design is made. Kids can explore geometry, engineering and art with these sturdy building toys, making them ideal for classrooms and homeschooling families. (Did I mention they also have a teacher's guide among many other super cool products on their website?)
What I really like about these toys is that there are no instructions, just a colorful guide that has some super cool 2D and 3D building ideas. Kids aren't limited by a set of instructions so the kids can be as creative as they like, and use the power of their imaginations to build towers, space ships, dragons or what ever else they can think of. They are also compatible with other WEDGiTs sets, and can be combined to make larger creations and structures.
WEDGNETiX (and WEDGiTS) are built super strong, are brightly colored and totally kid proof! They are safety tested to conform to the USA’s CPSIA and international ASTM FM963 certification.
