The minions and I practically stalk our favorite companies to find out when the latest and greatest new toys will be coming out. However when I saw this I could not wait to show Teenie! K'NEX has recently launch a new line called Mighty Makers, a new line of engineering toys for girls.  No don't get me wrong, we are always excited when we see the newest K'NEX toys but when we found out that K'NEX would be sending us one to try we were super excited.  
All building toys help to develop STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) skills in some way, so they are great for kids to play with. However, there isn't too much out there that is specifically aimed at girls.  As much as Teenie enjoys playing with them anyways but would love to have something more girly.  Now, K’NEX is empowering young girls to "build big and dream bigger with Mighty Makers!" Now what girl wouldn't be excited?  Teenie ran out to mail truck everyday waiting for this one!

Mighty Makers:  Up, Up and Away Building Set Item # 43533
