The holidays are nearly upon us and I don't know about you guys, but I am no where near being done with my Christmas shopping!  Luckily there is still time to shop and my handy dandy gift guide to help find the perfect gift!  As a K'NEX mom blogger I was given the opportunity to test and review the coolest building toys for this holiday season.

The first thing we did when we got this kit was use some of the pieces to perform an experiment by building an earthquake proof structure (because toys can be educational too!)  This big coaster is still in the process of construction because we had some technical difficulties. Teenie started the building kit, but it collapsed after bumping into the table during some horse play with her cousin, Curly.  Sonshine decided to take over the project but the kids have been having a great time putting it together, again...  They have both insisted on minimal help from mom and dad and are determined to put the coaster together themselves. 

The Raptor's Revenge kit is huge, and comes with over 600 K'NEX parts & pieces including rods, connectors and track to create a motorized roller coaster.  When completed Raptor's Revenge will have over 19 feet of track and be almost 2 and a half feet tall!  My favorite thing about K'NEX is that the fun doesn't end there, you can download exclusive instructions to build the Brink of Extinct Coaster as well!  All K'NEX rods and connectors are made right here in the US! Sonshine was really excited to see the IMC Atlas Titan building kit!  The last time we were at the toy store he saw it and was nearly drooling over it.  This set includes everything you need to build a Titan that features a working launcher (the most exciting part for Sonshine) and exclusive decals.  Each Titan stands over 10" high when completed and includes one Pilot figure that sits inside the Titan.  Sonshine has officially declared this one his favorite K'NEX building set ever!
