The first thing that I thought when I opened the box and saw the Bedtime Bliss Sleep Mask, was "YAY, maybe now I'll sleep!" I am a hopeless insomniac but I truly believe that my lack of sleep revolves around the other members of my family. Everyone in my house, myself included... snores, some of us WAY louder than others but I won't name any names. If I don't fall asleep first, I usually have trouble falling asleep. My hubby wakes up super early for work in the mornings, usually between dark thirty and right before the butt crack of dawn. When he's up getting ready for work, I'm up too because there's lights on and doors opening and closing. I hear all of it and it wakes me up. Luckily for me this kit came with ear plugs. They are in-ear foam ear plugs, nothing fancy but they work fine but they don't block out enough sound for me.
Now the real star of this kit is the sleep mask! It's has molded cups for your eyes, so you are able to blink while wearing the mask. And it makes the room super dark. It took me about two nights to get used to wearing something on my face while sleeping, the mask was very comfortable to sleep in. It doesn't irritate your eyelids like flat sleep masks can do. The only thing I noticed was upon waking in the morning that the mask had moved slightly and let in a tiny bit of light near my nose. I am mainly a stomach sleeper so this may be why. However, since I have been using the Bedtime Bliss Sleep Mask, I've been sleeping a lot better! I also like that the kit comes with a little pouch to keep the mask and ear plugs together, and it's small so you can easily toss it into a bag for traveling.
